Yes as explained above, the mobility difference does cause this width difference, but this is true for higher nodes like > 45nm. As we go on lower nodes esp. at 28 and 16nm as I am working on these nodes, these is very less difference in mobility for holes and electrons and we size PMOS and NMOS equ...

I guess this is to limit the stack. NMOS stack for NAND and PMOS stack for NOR. Longer the stack, more will be 1. delay 2. higher input cap for int input signals. Also, I am not sure but i read it somewhere that increasing the stack also increases the varibility a lot and anylysis like monte carlo t...
